Showcase doesn't allow prices of existing products to be changed once a item has been sold in order to preserve the integrity of the financial report.
However, you can copy an existing product, change the price, and then disable the old product. You will also need to update the candy bar templates to reflect the new changes in the price structure if they are to become effective immediately. Copying a product will also copy any existing recipe that may have been linked to this product.
As an alternative method to the above:
<right click> on the product
select Change Price
change the existing price of the product
select if you want to disable the existing product and to automatically update the candy bar templates.
you will need to manually update the candy bar terminals though ShowPOS monitor to ensure that all terminals are update correctly (just in-case some of the candy terminals are off-line)
Note:
By disabling the original product you will also disable any ticket types that have this product linked as part of a combo-deal.
