Creating Product Recipes

Each product is made of items which may be sold, they may consist of none, one or more stock items. Each Stock item added will automatically be adjusted as sales occur. Only products that have recipes will be include in any stocktakes.

To add a new entry for the recipe, select a Stock Item from the list on the left and press [Add]. Repeat for each additional item. To save any changes press [Save], or [Undo] to cancel any changes.

To remove an item, select the item from the list on the right and drag to the list on the left, or select the item on the right and press [Remove].

If a product "medium drink" had the following recipe.

Then every time 1 medium drink was sold the following would occur:

You can only create a recipe for a product if that product has not previously been sold. If it has then it will be necessary to create a new product with the same details, create the recipe and then disable the previously sold product.
