Film Names

The Film Names screen is used to enter details of a film which will show at the cinema.

To create a new entry, press [New] and enter details in the appropriate fields. If the Head Office module has been activated then a list of pre-defined entries will appear to select from. To change the details of an existing entry, select the item from the list and press [Edit]. Change the details and press [Save], or [Undo] to cancel any changes.

To delete a film, select the item from the list and press [Delete].

Film Name

The full title of the film.

Short Title

A short title which is used when using the TV and LED signage options.

HO Code

This is a unique code used when determining what image will be displayed on the Customer Programme. This can be left blank, otherwise it must be a unique code which is pre-defined by Head Office.

Duration

The duration of the film in minutes. The value determines the relative size of the buttons on the Ticket Issue screen.

Rating

The rating given to the film. The default values are: G, PG, M, MA, R. (location dependent)

Screen Format

The format of the film. i.e. Dolby, etc...

Distributor

The distributor of the film.

Film Types

The type of the film as predefined in Film Types.

No Free List

Any film with this option selected will prevent any complimentry tickets or other $0.00 value tickets or vouchers from being sold (They will not be visible for selection by the users). This is based on the Distributor Price when creating each individual ticket types.

Synopsis

Enter a description of the film, etc ... The synopsis can be enhanced by using simple HTML commands which affects how the synopsis is displayed from the box office.

Available

When this option is selected, the film will be displayed in the list of available films when programming sessions.
