Getting the cash drawer to open when making a sale

Electronic cash drawers are not available for all printer/terminal combinations, but generally they should work if connected directly to a parallel printer when using the software's in-built printer drivers. Please consult the documentation for your printer if using it's accompanying printer driver software.
