Member Clubs and Levels Permissions-FRCWD

Top  Previous  Next

Member clubs allow you to categorize the way you want to apply different aspects of your membership programme to different groups. These clubs can then be further categorised into separate membership levels. You can have any number of levels within a club. However, a member can only belong to ONE member level within any club at any given period.

The membership level determines how they accumulate their membership points and what rewards they are automatically allocated when purchasing items. (see also: Member Bonuses)

There are two ways in which members can accumulate their points depending upon your membership needs. These are by:

having a fixed reward scheme in which pre-determined rewards are automatically given when a certain number of points have been accumulated, and
(Reserved for Future Use) having a non-fixed points scheme which allows members to accumulate points at their discretion and once they earn sufficient points, use those points as a payment method to purchase any other item such as tickets, movie money or items in the candy bar.

Note:

If using a non-fixed points scheme, it will be necessary for management to monitor the member purchases more closely to prevent any indiscretions as this will effectively become a defacto credit card.

Loyalty Type

There are two types of loyalty at present depending upon your needs:

Calculate by Points - points are accumulated based on fixed dollar value per item or per ticket regardless of the type of item. This method automatically allocates rewards based on the members accumulated points, and thus has no choice in what rewards they are given.
Calculate by Loyalty % (Reserved for future use) - points are accumulated based on a percentage value of each individual purchased item. Each item must have previously been allocated a Loyalty % value ie. 5% which is used to calculate the points to be rewarded. This method assumes that any points accumulated by the member can then be used as a payment towards other items purchased. This allows the member to use the points as they see fit.

Points per Ticket Dollar

This is the number of points that will be allocated for each dollar value of each ticket. If this is 0 then the points per ticket method will be used to calculate the number of points.

Points per Ticket

Allocates points for every ticket purchased, except for zero value tickets. This option will NOT BE USED IF Points per Ticket Dollar has a value > ZERO.

Points per Product Dollar

Allocates points based on the dollar value of non-ticket sites. ie. candy bar items, movie money, fees, vouchers, etc..

Points per Sale

Allocates a number of points in addition to the points allocated above.

Maximum Points per Sale

This is the maximum number of points that can be accumulated in any one sale regardless of how many points were previously calculated..
