Period types allow you to pre-define a number of different sales analysis scenarios for report analysis and head office default interactions (if applicable).

 

To create a new entry, press the [New] and enter the details in the appropriate fields. If the Head Office module has been activated then a list of predefined entries will appear to select from. To change the details of an existing entry, select the item from the list and press [Edit]. Change the details and press [Save], or [Undo] to cancel the current changes.

 

To delete a Period Type, select the item from the list and press [Delete].

Name

The name of the period type. These should be descriptive names such as weekdays, weekends, holidays, standard, etc ...

 

Available

Determines if this item will be available for selection.
