Terminal not download sales back to the ShowPOS Server

look for +, ?, X in bottom left corner on terminal to see terminal is connected to QuestNET module
check cables are plugged in or loose
check that the QuestNET module is on
check that the cables in the QuestNET are plugged into the correct plug
check if light on QuestNET module is flashing
check if light on QuestNET module is on, but not flashing
RESET power to QuestNET to clear internal buffers
if QuestNET not flashing
check power cable is plugged in
check powerpoint/powerboard is turned on
check if power adapter is warm, if not then adapter may need replacing

 

Terminal not being update from the ShowPOS Server

check cabling
check terminal is on when update is done

 

Terminal displays MEMORY FULL error message

This happens when terminal is usering in off-line mode and you have reached the maximum storage capacity of the terminal. Reconnect cables and download all sales before continuing.

 

Terminal displays MEMORY FAIL error message

terminal has been RESET and needs to be reloaded. Any sales not previously downloaded will have been deleted. This can happen if the terminal was RESET manually using the special RESET sequence, or
the terminal has a faulty power cable connector.

 

Terminal beeps even when no one is using terminal
