Sales Periods

Sales Periods allow you to allocate the Analysis Periods to each 30 minute time slot. All sales that are made are allocated to one 30 minute slot based on their sale time for non-ticket items or the start time of the session for ticket prices. The Sales Periods may be changed at any time without affecting the underlying sales.

To create a new entry, press the [New] and enter the details in the appropriate fields. If the Head Office module has been activated then a list of predefined entry will appear to select from. To change the details of an existing entry select the item from the list and press [Edit]. Change the details and press [Save], or [Undo] to cancel the current changes.

To unassign a Sales Period, select the N/A item from the list and press [Save].

Period Type

This is the period type to which these Sales Periods will be assigned.

Cinema Type

This is one of the pre-defined Cinema Types. If the sales periods are to be applied to all cinema types then only assign the default cinema type Cinema, otherwise it is neccesary to define each of the 30 minute time slots.

Day

This is the Day to which these sales periods are allocated. You either use the default day for all the sales periods, or define all of the periods for any other day. The default day will be assigned if no other day has been allocated.

Analysis Period

This is a list of the defined analysis period for the selected Period Type. unique period # assigned to each period. Period #0 is a special period where all other items that don't get allocated will be allocated. The other allowable periods  are 1..48

Default Prices (reserved for future use)

This is the default ticket price category that will be assigned when using period mode session programming. This only applies when the default Period Type and Cinema Type are selected.

Internet Prices (reserved for future use)

This is the default internet ticket price category that will be assigned when using period mode session programming. This only applies when the default Period Type and Cinema Type are selected.

Task (reserved for future use)

This will run the specified task at the start of the 30 minute time slot. This only applies when the default Period Type and Cinema Type are selected.
