It is IMPORTANT THAT All OPERATORS MUST SIGN OFF the software before these change will take effect.
Reserved Tickets Use this option if tickets are allowed to be reserved for later collection at the box office. This includes any remote ticket sales.
Reserve Interval (mins) This option determines if and when any uncollected reservations will be cancelled and returned for sale if they haven't been collected by the time the session starts. Only reservations that have not been prepaid will be cancelled by the system.
The first terminal that is signed on will be designated the Reservation Server that will clear an uncollected reservations. If the terminal is subsequently signed off then any remaining terminals will automatically designate another server. Any uncollected reservations that have not been automatically removed prior to the sessions start time can be manually removed.
If the interval is set to 0 then any uncollected reservations will need to be manually removed. Otherwise the reservations will be cleared at the time specified before the session is due to commence.
Once exception to this rule is if Theatre Mode option has been selected for a cinema. This then assumes that all uncollected reservations will need to be manually removed.
Payment Options This determines when payment for any reservation must be received. These options include:
Seating Allocation This determines the type of seating allocation that is required when selling tickets. This applies to both non-reserved and reserved tickets. It is possible to configure a specific session to have allocated seating when programming sessions. These options include:
Automated Seating Use this option to specify that the system is to automatically assign seat numbers based on the priority number for each seat at the time of sale. These seats can then be manually overridden by the user before the sale is completed. See also: Cinema Maintenance
