Stock Items Adjustments

Allows the current stock levels of an item to be adjusted as required. i.e. stock wastage, stolen items, etc.

To create a new entry, press the [New] and enter the details in the appropriate fields. To change the details of an existing adjustment, select the adjustment from the list and press [Edit]. Change the details and press [Save], or [Undo] to cancel any changes made.

Once an adjustment has been saved the only way to undo the adjustment is to do a reverse entry. To reverse an entry select the opposite type of transfer (i.e. in an adjustment was transferred In, then select Transfer Out)

Serves/Packages to adjust

To adjust out a quantity select Transfer Out, to adjust in a quantity select Transfer In. To transfer a quantity by serves, Select by Serves, otherwise the quantity will be adjusted by the number of serves in a package. If the package is not an whole number then the packages will be rounded to the nearest quantity of serves that will divide evenly into the number of packages specified.

for example:

If a package consists of 13 serves, and the quantity was entered as 1.25 packages then the number of serves would be rounded down to 16 serves.
