The basic principle behind TV signage is that what you see on the terminal you will also see displayed on your TV monitor. It requires that a terminal be dedicated to the signage due to the graphical nature of the display.
TV signage has the option of mixing monitors together with LED's in any combination.
For example:
you may have large monitors display the session details in the foyer, and LED's for the cinema doors
you may have large monitors display the session details in the foyer and the cinema doors
you may the traditional multi-line LED's in the foyer and monitors in strategic positions, and LED's for the cinema doors
